Culture and the arts have not been excluded from Meridian’s dedication to being well-rounded city.  There are many opportunities to be educated in or to just enjoy the arts!  The Meridian Symphony Orchestra, a dynamic 70-piece orchestra is in it’s 26th year and provides quality and family friendly entertainment.  The Initial Point Gallery on the third floor of Meridian City Hall maintains elegant art displays from local to internationally-known artists. And, during the summer months,  the outdoor Meridian Urban Market features local art, live music, artisan and farmer’s markets, as well as plenty of good food!
